With reference to your letter No. 32826/1902 of the 29th September last, I repeat that I should feel compelled to address you again on the subject of the computation of my pension.

It is of much vital importance and, I hope, will be accepted as my apology for writing again on the subject.

First, as to the Mauritius pension: By para 3 of your said letter you inform me that the amount of my pension from the Straits Settlement and Hongkong will not be affected by the celeration of the pension due from Mauritius, yet I find that his "calculation rests on the assumption..."
